The grapes for this wine were picked by our frineds and family in our Lake Cynthia Vineyard on the Silverado Bench in the southern part of the Napa Valley. They were hand picked on October 10, 2008 and fermented in a small lot with extended maceration (in argon covered bins). Total "time on the skins" was 35 days to achieve maximum extraction, flavor and color stability. Following fermentation, the wine was then aged in 100% new American oak barrels for 23 months prior to bottling. It will be aged an additional 12 months in the bottle prior to release. 42 Cases made
